A professional sports team that admits gambling on its games is going to get a lot of flak, both locally and nationally. This team would be tarred and feathered in the newspaper stands across the nation and would put a black eye on the sport it represents. You can imagine the sport talk show jockeys harping on this one for a month and then ever so slightly letting up only to bring back the ridicule.
