by Will BrinsonFiled under: Knicks, Nets, NBA Rumors, NBA Free AgentsThe Nets -- thanks to owners Mikhail Prokhorov and Jay-Z -- may have made the most aggressive statement of the pre-free agency period yet on Wednesday, posting a gigantic billboard of themselves on a Manhattan building near Madison Square Garden.
The theme of the billboard -- "The Blueprint for Greatness" -- is an obvious play on Jay-Z's sixth album, The Blueprint (and yes, subsequent follow-ups of the same name) as well as the potential for the New Jersey Nets to become something other than a disembodied franchise.
But much more importantly, because ...
