In a few months, NBA free agency will begin. Besides all of the talented players that will be changing teams themselves, others will find a new home by means of a trade.
More often than not, teams decide to save money and fill a void by a trade rather than spend too much money on a free agent. Case in point, the New York Knicks trading for Carmelo Anthony (pictured at left) to have a top player who could complement Amare' Stoudemire.
