A Year To Forget: 20 NBA Players Who May Disappoint The Most Next Season

Every NBA season there are three types of groups when classifying players. There are the players who are guaranteed to have great season. But that is only a few players that we can count on (Kobe and LeBron). Then there is the NBA players who have break out seasons that no one saw coming (which was the purpose of my other article). Lastly, there is the group of NBA players who just have terrible seasons that they will want to forget forever! I have compiled a list of the 20 NBA players who I think will not have as good as a season as coaches, teammates, management, and fans would have hoped!

The Toronto Raptors have told the Cleveland Cavaliers they would do a sign-and-trade deal with free agent Chris Bosh that would send the forward to Cleveland, according to ESPN.com.

The big "if" involved: If Bosh is willing to play in Cleveland.

The feeling in Cleveland is that the report is premature and leaning more toward speculation in a free-agent frenzy that has been rife with speculation. The same day this report came out, ESPN also reported that Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov told associates he believed that Bosh would join Dwayne Wade in Miami.

Perhaps Bosh now finds himself being recruited by both James and Wade.

But if the sign-and-trade did happen with Cleveland, it would clearly be huge. Because if Bosh agrees to the trade, he would then be able to get a max contract from Toronto (which he wants) and team with James in Cleveland. Which would mean the Cavs would keep James and keep their team as a serious contender.

New York, New Jersey and Miami would be disappointed, but James would be staying home ... something that apparently means something to him.

Chris Bosh is widely considered the second-best option in free agency (LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are 1a and 1b, respectively), an impact big man who, if paired with the appropriate other superstar, presents a perfect championship-winning compliment.

Do not, if you happen to run into Bosh on the streets of Toronto or elsewhere, tell him that. Because, according to some quotes he gave Art Garcia at NBA.com recently, he's mildly offended at the idea that he couldn't carry a team to the promised land on his own shoulders.
